Your personal needs and interests will determine how much you want to be a part of the Cornell campus and Ithaca community. We hope you take advantage of the unique opportunities that are available while you are here. In order for you to become fully informed, we strongly recommend that you consider the following as resources:
- Like us on Facebook. We are posting all open events/activities/important information for our students with partners and families on our Facebook page. This is our primary mode of communication.
- The Big Red Barn Graduate and Professional Student Center is our student center for graduate and professional students. Previously an old carriage house, the BRB is located in the heart of campus and surrounded by lawns and gardens. A central place for eating and relaxing, the Big Red Barn hosts more than 500 events per year, including events like T.G.I.F. (Tell Grads It’s Friday), art openings, cultural programs, trivia nights, game nights, sustainability crafts, LGBT socials, and so much more. Spouses and partners are encouraged to be a part of this community. Please contact Jennifer Forbes (firstname.lastname@example.org) to be added to the weekly announcements on what is happening at the Big Red Barn.
- Become familiar with the Cornell Events Calendar to learn about other opportunities in which you may want to participate.
